Sun Path: Privacy Policy

Sun Path & Golden Hour Tracker ("the app") is made by Gnurt. This policy explains what happens to your data when you use the app. In short: the app has no account, no ads and no analytics, and it does not send your data to us.
Data the app uses on your phone
- Location. With your permission, the app reads your approximate position to work out the Sun and Moon times where you are. It is kept on your phone only, so the app can open on the same place next time.
- Places you save. Names and positions you type or pick are kept on your phone only.
- Camera. With your permission, the camera picture is shown with the Sun's path drawn over it. The picture is processed on your phone only. A photo is taken only when you press the shutter.
- Compass and motion sensors. Used live on your phone to know where the phone points. Nothing is recorded.
- Your photos. A photo is saved to your gallery only when you tap Save, and sent to another app only when you tap Share and choose one.
- Notifications. If you switch on alerts, the app schedules them on your phone. Nothing is sent anywhere to do this.
We do not have a server for this app and we never receive any of this data.
Services of other companies
The planning map shows map pictures from Google Maps, and the one-time Pro purchase goes through Google Play; these services receive the usual technical information they need to work, under Google's own privacy policy. The rest of the app works without a connection.
What we do not do
- No advertising and no advertising identifiers.
- No analytics, tracking or profiling.
- No sale or sharing of personal data.
- No access to your contacts, files or microphone.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If the app starts handling data differently, for example when a feature is added, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the date above will change.
